WINLPG – Changing the face of the industry.
Gender balance in the LPG industry is not optimised and WLGA is in a unique position to start make a change. This change is to be driven by WINLPG. WINLPG is a global network that will recommend actions and activities as part of the WLGA strategic planning process to address this issue.
2026 WINLPG Action Plan
WINLPG is a global network that supports women in the Liquid Gas industry, including LPG, provides a network for women to share best practices, works in-country with national chapters and provides a unique network to make a change. WINLPG works to an annual Action Plan which sets out key goals for the year. The 2026 WINLPG Action Plan is available here.
Acknowledging our Award Winners
This year saw a particularly impressive quality in applications for our three awards: Woman of the Year; Young Woman of the Technical/Groundbreaker award.
The WINLPG Woman of the Year award recognises women who have proven excellence in leadership, influence in their community and shown a significant contribution to supporting diversity within our industry. Our Woman of the Year 2026 is awarded to Janaina Maia, Ultragaz, Brazil.
The WINLPG Young Woman of the Year recognises achievements from rising young talent who have shown significant contribution and commitment within the business and epitomise the values of WINLPG. Our Young Woman of the Year 2026 is awarded to Lauryne Alessi, Butagaz/DCC in France.
In 2023 WINLPG launched a new award, the Field/Technical Groundbreaker Award, to recognise women who work in the field, or in technical roles, where they have overcome the specific challenges of working in these particular sectors and who can demonstrate success working within an environment where women are significantly under-represented. The Field/Technical Groundbreaker Award 2026 goes to Anna Alden of DCC in Sweden.
