David Tyler
David spent 25 years working in downstream oil and gas markets for Shell International in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, before establishing his own LPG consultancy business in 1996. He is a Chartered Engineer with a post graduate diploma in management.
His key area of expertise is in the Downstream LPG business, from primary storage through to the customer, focussing on safety, operations, distribution, marketing, and business improvement. He specialises in Asian markets but has worked across all regions of the world.
Since 2009, David has been a Director of the World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA), responsible for their safety and business improvement goal. This includes digital innovation initiatives and the good industry practice programme. He is responsible for drafting the library of Guides to Good Industry Practices and running workshops and webinars.
David holds Patents on LPG equipment and acts as an expert witness on LPG incidents.
He is based in both Australia and England and is married with three children and five grandchildren.
