When Ultragaz met Blossman Gas: Global Knowledge Sharing in Action for the Liquid Gas Industry

Blossman Gas recently welcomed a delegation from Ultragaz to its Cartersville, Georgia operations following the NPGA Southeastern Expo, in a valuable example of the global knowledge exchange that continues to strengthen the Liquid Gas industry. The visit brought together operational and commercial leaders from Brazil and the United States to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and explore best practices across bulk logistics, cylinder operations, customer service, and delivery strategy.
Representing Ultragaz were Hermano Corinti, Bulk Market Director, and Bruno Mazzoco, Logistic Cylinder Manager, while the Blossman Gas team was led by Nicole Sullivan, Director of Process Improvement, John Fowler, Regional Vice President, and Dee Lathem, Branch Manager. Discussions focused on operational topics including bobtail routing philosophies, forecasting, truck productivity, delivery efficiency, seasonality, customer service approaches, and retail cylinder operations. The exchange highlighted how companies operating in very different markets can still learn significantly from one another through open dialogue, transparency, and a shared commitment to operational excellence. It also reinforced the importance of continuous learning and the willingness of industry leaders to openly discuss both successes and challenges.
The WLGA is proud to help facilitate these types of member-to-member connections, which demonstrate the real value of global industry collaboration. Across regions and business models, WLGA members continue to strengthen the industry through practical knowledge sharing, operational benchmarking, and the development of lasting professional relationships.
The association thanks both Ultragaz and Blossman Gas for their openness, hospitality, and commitment to advancing the global Liquid Gas industry through collaboration.
