Built on 165 years of gas industry know-how

In 2026, the industry of LPG marks two important anniversaries: 75 years of Kosan Crisplant and 90 years of Siraga – both brand names of MAKEEN Energy.

Together, the two brands represent 165 years of experience in Liquid Gas filling. Their histories follow the development of the LPG industry itself, from the early growth of cylinder filling and distribution to today’s automated facilities, digital tools, and lifecycle support.

Kosan Crisplant and Siraga were founded in different countries and at different times, but they grew from the same need: helping the gas industry handle LPG filling safely, reliably, and efficiently as demand increased.

Over the decades, their role has grown from supplying mechanical equipment to delivering complete systems, technical knowledge, service support, and long-term operational insight. This reflects a wider change in the industry, where distributors need partners who understand the full life of a facility — from engineering and project development to operation and maintenance.

Both brands have also contributed beyond their own projects through knowledge sharing, industry dialogue, and cooperation across markets. Kosan Crisplant’s role as a founding member of WLGA, is one example of this long-standing commitment.
