Autogas refuelling network expands in Argentina

SIFER GAS, together with OPEM, is building its sixth LPG refuelling station in Argentina. The new facility, located in the province of San Juan, will be the most modern in the network.

According to the company, it will be dedicated exclusively to the supply of LPG, will have two islands with double pumps, a minimarket, a food court, and other retail spaces, consolidating its position as a state-of-the-art multipurpose station.

“We are committed to offering the community a new retail outlet, but with all the characteristics of a comprehensive commercial and service centre, one that goes beyond the sale of Autogas, thus entering into a space that offers consumers different options for their satisfaction,” said Raúl Persoglia, President of SIFER GAS.

This new franchise will be operated by OPEM, which manages another station of the same brand in San Juan. “It is doubly satisfying that the company that invested in this business model six years ago is once again placing its trust in this project,” added Persoglia.

With stations operating in Chaco, Corrientes, Formosa, and San Juan, SIFER GAS continues its expansion into the north of Argentina. In this context, the businessman announced that they have begun talks with interested investors in the province of Córdoba.

Finally, Persoglia explained that while the volume in the country is not significant, the potential is enormous and stated that "if we continue with this expansion policy, we will achieve some positive results since it is a progressive process and it is a product with many strengths."
