Safety Webinar – “LPG in the Commercial Sector: Enhancing Safety and Awareness”
Join the World Liquid Gas Association on Tuesday 13th May 2025 at 2pm CEST for a FREE WEBINAR entitled LPG in the Commercial Sector: Enhancing Safety and Awareness.
LPG is widely used across the commercial sector, providing clean energy in restaurants, hotels, swimming pools, laundries, hospitals, and educational institutions. However, safety incidents involving LPG can have serious consequences, potentially affecting large numbers of people, and resulting in fatalities, injuries, and significant loss of assets.
The webinar will explore the value proposition of LPG for commercial users, and focus on some practical approaches to enhance safety across the sector. Key topics will include:
- Major risks associated with commercial LPG installations
- Case studies of recent incidents resulting in fatalities
- Risk mitigation measures that could have prevented these incidents
- Core safety messages and the intended audiences
- Sharing existing safety communication resources
- Ensuring safety throughout the ‘last mile’ of delivery and usage
The session will also provide global insights into where and how LPG is used in the commercial sector, and cover some key properties and characteristics of LPG—especially those impacting the safe storage, handling, distribution and use of LPG, from supplier to end user.
