Fleet operators continue to turn to Autogas as a practical transport fuel solution
Nestlé Waters North America added more than 400 Autogas delivery trucks to its fleet, bringing the total number of propane-powered vehicles to nearly 600. At the time, these vehicles accounted for approximately 30% of the company's North American delivery fleet.
The expansion followed the deployment of 185 Autogas trucks in California and reflected the company's broader efforts to reduce emissions and fuel costs across its operations.
According to the company, Autogas vehicles offered lower fuel costs than conventional fuels while helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.
The example highlights how Autogas can provide a proven, commercially available option for fleets seeking to improve environmental performance without compromising operational requirements.
