From One Chapter to the Next: A Celebration of Our Sustainable Growth and Innovation Goal Chair’s Leadership
Fabian Ziegler, CEO of DCC Energy, Chair of the WLGA SGI activities and Chair of the Renewables Steering Committee, as known, he left DCC Energy in July 2025. At the same time he stepped down from his WLGA roles that he held since 2023.
Innovation is now more important than ever, Fabian used to say, driving with determination most all of the innovation initiatives of the association. Fabian was pivotal in his role in strengthening and consolidating further the sustainability, decarbonisation and renewables efforts in the Liquid Gas industry, toward its net-zero ambitions. The commitment and passion of Fabian for net-zero, in parallel with affordability, accessibility and energy security of our product, was remarkable.
The Liquid Gas Week in Rio de Janeiro saw the formal approval of the successor of Fabian, Warren Paterson, VP in Worthington Enterprises, as SGI Chair, to take effect from 1st of January 2026. Warren brings an immense amount of experience in his new SGI role. This experience comes, not only from his current position in Worthington Enterprises, but also from the other senior positions he held in the past with the biggest international LPG distributor companies members in WLGA, and also having served once before as a chair in this SGI role.
