Christoph Reimnitz

Christoph Reimnitz is the Chair of the LPG to Power Working Group at the World Liquid Gas Association, a position he has held since its creation in 2017. In his role he has been championing the use of LPG as a cost effective, clean and reliable feedstock for power generation.

Christoph spent the majority of his career with General Electric, where he held various senior positions, including Head of Strategy / M&A for GE Capital Europe, Head of Strategy / M&A for GE’s Industrial businesses in Europe, Head of Structuring for GE’s global Gas to Power business as well as its African Project Finance activities.

In 2021 Christoph founded CR Energy Ltd., a consultancy focusing on power generation as well as LPG infrastructure with a particular focus on the African continent. Recent clients include the IFC (World Bank Group), Genesis Energy, Petredec and Globeleq.

Christoph has served as non-executive director on various boards including as Chairman of German battery manufacturer AKASOL AG, as a director of GE Artesia Bank (NL), GE Money Bank (GER) and GE Capital EMEA Ltd. (UK) and as trustee of GE’s UK pension fund.

Dr. Reimnitz is a qualified lawyer and holds a PhD in banking law from Frankfurt University in Germany.
